I love film and television. I have for as long as I can remember and I always knew, no matter the circumstances of my upbringing in Colombia, that I wanted to be a part of cinema. Let's just say when it comes to me the dice was cast from the start. So, the minute I could I got a camera and started making shorts and animations.
Fast forward to today, at 39, living in Toronto, I can look back at a life that has lead me to live in six cities across three countries (Cartagena, Bogota, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Vancouver and Toronto), to get a Bachelor's degree in visual arts, and a Master's degree in film and television production from my dream school, USC, alma mater of my childhood hero: George Lucas. A life that has allowed me to shoot dozens of music videos seen everywhere from MTV to garnering millions of views on YouTube. That allowed me to premiere my first independent feature length film at my hometown’s prestigious film festival 'FICCI'. A life where I've made many friends, connections, memories, with its ups and downs, but always moving forward.
After all of that, I still am very hungry for more, I just partnered with a photographer to establish a boutique photo and video production company, while also looking forward to the next adventure past the horizon.
